Jubilee Trust

Founded in 1998 and directed by Ian & Alyson Mayer, Jubilee is a network Church that works in partnership with individuals, groups and organisations. Jubilee works in communities, in business, in education, as well as through denominations, Christian networks and churches. Jubilee is about empowering individuals to make a transforming contribution to society.

Marriage Matters

Ian & Alyson coordinate the Marriage Matters project. Marriage Matters is based on the Foccus (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) scheme.  Foccus is a relationship inventory for couples who are planning to marry. Reflecting current knowledge about the key elements of a successful marriage, Foccus helps couples learn more about themselves and their relationship.

Cafe Church

Ian & Alyson are committed to developing the Cafe Church concept. They have both produced resources and network links to support Cafe Church cultures. Cafe Church is designed to provide an environment where life issues and Christian insight can be considered and then be transformed into ongoing Christian practice.

Mission Doncaster

Both Ian & Alyson are extremely passionate about Church unity. They work together on the management team of Mission Doncaster, which was adopted as a project of Jubilee in 2006. Mission Doncaster exists to help local Churches develop closer relationships, joined up thinking, and a shared vision for Doncaster.

One Heart One Voice

Launched in 2004 by Ian, and now part of Mission Doncaster, the One Heart One Voice Leaders Network aims to facilitate the unity of Christian Leadership in the Doncaster area and genuinely celebrate the diversity of the Christian Church. It acts as an extension of the Doncaster Ministers Prayer Fellowship reaching out to leaders across Doncaster. The priority is to nurture concrete opportunities for shared relationships, worship and prayer while respecting the limitations imposed by specific traditions.

City Celebrations

Ian has been a key-leader for City Celebrations since they first began in 1993, he currently directs the Worship Team for the event. As part of Mission Doncaster, City Celebrations are an opportunity for churches in and around Doncaster, from a range of traditions to join together in worship 3 or 4 times a year.

City Prayer

Together Ian & Alyson lead City Prayer. As part of Mission Doncaster, City Prayer aims to provide a town-wide prayer strategy for Doncaster. Working alongside City Celebrations it is an initiative designed to encourage united prayer and intercession across the town.

City Hope

In 2009 Ian & Alyson launched the City Hope website. City Hope aims to provide a town-wide outreach context for Doncaster, that demonstrates Christian faith in action. As part of Mission Doncaster, City Hope does this by developing and supporting projects that create environments where life issues and Christian insight can be considered.

Bawtry Hall

Ian & Alyson are directors of the Action Partners Corporation, the custodians of Bawtry Hall. Bawtry Hall offers an experience of staying in a gracious Grade II listed manor house renovated in painstaking detail.
